Epilogue: "Yes"

Your eyes began to tear up, hearing those four words leave Ivan's mouth. You didn't know exactly why you were crying, but it wasn't because you were upset or sad about it. He took out a small box and opened it in front of you, revealing a very nice very expensive looking ring held snugly inside. You quickly gathered your thoughts and answered him with a smile.

"Yes! Yes, I'll marry you!" you were just so happy that tears of joy were pouring from your eyes. You ran the small space in front of you and gave Ivan the most romantic kiss you thought possible.

Ivan returned the favor and the two of you were just standing in the kitchen, held in each other's loving embrace. The time came when you had to pull back for air, and just hugged Ivan even tighter.

"Я люблю тебя _______," he kissed the top of your head.

"Я тоже тебя люблю," you wiped the tears from your eyes. "Let's tell the others when they least expect it. It'll be a surprise!"

Ivan agreed and the two of you returned to the group of nations that sat in the other room.

*Return to the present!*

Everyone was gathered in the living room. Though there were many people, there was still plenty of space to move around. It was just like a regular party, everyone having fun and spending time with one another. You took Ivan's hand and yours and the two of you pushed your way to the front of the room. You held a glass and a spoon in your free hand, and once you were in position you released your hand from Ivan's and tapped the side of the glass with the spoon.

"Can I have everyone's attention please?" you announced with the clinking of the glass. "I'd like to make an announcement!"

All eyes were now facing forward, all peering into your own. The talking noises extinguished and left a silence hanging in the entire house. You cleared your throught and prepared to tell everyone the exciting news about you and Ivan.

"Everyone, I'm glad that all of you could make it here. It means a lot to me that you all care about me and that I was able to become friends with you. I am especially thankful that England came here as well, I know that we barely spent any time with each other in the past but I still love you as my brother," you paused to think of a good way to break it to everyone. It was nice seeing their smiles and good attitudes. "I'd also like to update you about my status with Russia..."

If there was one, this would be a good time for a drum roll. You could just imagine one in your head as the suspense built up in the room. People shifted sitting positions but kept their attention focused on you.

"I'm.....I'm engaged. And I want all of you to come to our wedding...." you bowed your head down, waiting for their reaction.

"Nuh uh chica!! Show us the ring!" Spain came up to the front and grabbed your left hand, observing the metal object that was gripping your finger. He then held out your hand for everyone to see. "Aww my little _______ is getting married! I'm so happy for you!"

"Th-thanks!" you grinned as others began coming up one by one to look at the shiny piece of metal.

After the crowd cleared up you sighed and began processing thoughts about some stuff. 'I guess there's no bridesmaid for me. I don't have any female friends...' You thought about any female country that you could possibly think of. "Oh no...." you turned to Ivan.

"What's wrong? You look worried.." his eyes filled with concern.

"Belarus is going to kill me when she finds out...what can I do?" you but your lip.

"I already talked to her...it's okay she's fine with it," he surprised you.

"Really? What did she say?" you weren't as worried anymore.

"She said she just wants her brother to be happy with his life," he smiled. "And you're what makes me happy. You're my precious sunflower."

"Oh you," you grinned and lightly slapped his shoulder with your hand.

*Wedding day*

You were in a room, standing in your beautiful white wedding dress, staring at your reflection in the mirror that sat in front of you. You twirled around for a while to see how you looked with such a flowy clothing item.

"Don't worry about it you look marvelous," a voice said from behind you.

You pivoted around on your heels and saw England leaning on the wall. When he saw you looking he walked forward and stopped in front of you.

"Oh it's just you," you laughed. "I was worried that I'd have to say it was bad luck for the groom to see his bride before the wedding started."

The Brit was wearing a very elegant suit. He looked very handsome himself. He exhaled and placed a hand on your arm. "Are you sure you want to go through with this? I mean there's time to rethink things."

"I'm sure. I thought over this a billion times through," you nodded. "I've only just noticed, but you seem to be more nervous than I am."

"Alright, I just wanted to know if this is really what you want," he grinned. "It's time to go out, are you ready?"

"Of course I am," you stood by his side, where he held his elbow out for you and you gladly took it in your arms. 'I wish Rome could've been here to see this...'

The music played and you walked nicely along the rug, to the outside where the sky was nice and blue, the weather was at a comfortable temperature, and everything looked amazing. You held a smile you couldn't seem to put away as you looked around at all your friends who sat in the chairs beside the aisle. All your closest relatives sat in the front, along with Ukraine and Belarus from Ivan's side of the family.

They all smiled as you walked up the aisle with England, who you swore felt like it was more his wedding than yours by how nervous he was acting. Everyone looked so nice, dressed in all these nice tuxedo's and suits. You took a mental picture of all of them as you reached the front, for you only get married once in a lifetime.

You then finally took a good look at your soon to be husband. He was now standing directly across from you, with what seemed to be the best tuxedo out of everyone's. You noticed the absence of his scarf, which was shocking, but he still looked as handsome as can be. His hair was even neatly combed back onto his head. It made your smile grow ever bigger.

After a while your smile began hurting your cheeks, but it was all worth the moment. This would be the best day of your life. You took your vows when the priest told you, and waited for the special moment in the end to arrive. It was a lot of waiting, but patience was the key.

When the time came you nearly almost screamed with joy, but held it all inside.

"You may kiss the bride," the preacher announced.

You and Ivan gratefully brought yourselves together into a kiss, where you felt a spark that would ignite the sky with fireworks if it were night time. The feeling it gave you was so great, but you couldn't think of a word to describe it. You just knew that it was what you had hoped for. A happy ending, and a unforgettable new beginning.

'This...this is life as we know it.'

The End

This was.....a beautifully amazing Hetalia FanFic I have ever read. This story had so much feeling in itself that it gave me of how it felt within the story. My heart would beat fast in fear, sadness (yes, tears came down like a waterfall), worry, joy and most of all happiness.
The atmospheric in this was just perfect.
This also allowed me to SEE this happening and it felt SO REALISTIC!
